Hey y’all! My name is Alden. I was born and raised in South Louisiana. Growing up in the south, you are bound to fall in love with food. From helping my PawPaw to make homemade hot sauce with peppers from his backyard to experimenting with my mom trying to come up with the perfect crawfish egg roll recipe, memories were made.

I’ve always been around good eating so it’s hard when people ask “When did you learn to cook like that?” I just took it all in over the years watching family gather in the kitchen and when I was old enough I just followed suit. I love learning about different cuisines and styles of cooking although cajun and creole are my specialties of course! There is so much influence across the world in cajun and creole cooking so it can be very diverse. I believe there is no one way to make a recipe, so be my guest and adjust any of my recipes to your own liking. That is what cooking is all about.
