  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 cup of light or dark corn syrup

  • 1 cup of granulated sugar

  • ¼ cup of unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • ¼ teaspoon of salt

  • 2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) of unsalted butter, cold and cut into small cubes

  • ¼ to ½ cup of ice water

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the 9-inch pie crust in a pie dish and set it aside.
